A major 7.9 magnitude earthquake strike the nation mid-day on Saturday killed thousands in Nepal and injured seriously thousands of people. The country hit by 7.9 magnitude earthquakes with the reports of collapsed buildings in Kathmandu and strong tremors are still felt even in the 13 day of the devastating catastrophic.A governmental study found ten apartments in Capital are damaged in the major earthquake. The study has even showed damages in the building of High Rise apartment in Capital. However the study too examined great loss in the Park View Horizon located in Dhapasi. The government study team too informed that the building is unsuitable for sheltering. Barun Developers under Indian Company R J Corp had built Park View Horizon which is considered to be one of the expensive residential apartments in Capital.
Most of the people residing in the apartments are in trouble due to the damages in apartments. The expertise of Urban Development and Building Construction Department are surveying the apartments to examine whether they are apt for sheltering. Those apartments which are approved by the team of expertise received Green sticker. Oriental Apartment Dhapasi, Indreni Bhatbhateni, Bhatbhateni Apartment and HACH Tower in Lazimpat received green sticker as an approval. City Sketch in Hattiban, Grand in Dhumbarahi and Grand in Dhapasi are examined by the team of expertise. According to the survey, the team issued yellow sticker to these apartments, after examining the structural problems. The expertise opined these apartments issued with yellow sticker have to be renovated and recreated. -
